Dr. Jenn Nyberg, Chiropractor
Starting Young
My first visit to the chiropractor I was 6 years old and had no symptoms. My father was getting adjusted for his back pain and he brought my sister and I with him one Saturday. The chiropractor noticed that I had a slight limp while wandering around the office and recommended x-rays. The results showed mild scoliosis in my lower back. My chiropractor discussed how this could affect my performance in sports and my posture.

Regular Care
Throughout my childhood and adolescence I was adjusted regularly. It kept me strong for dance, gymnastics and eventually helped when I started playing full contact ice hockey. I was taught from a young age that even though there may not be pain present, subluxations may be interfering with the function of the nervous system.

Fast Forward
I followed the footsteps of the doctor who made such a difference in my life and attended chiropractic college in Portland, OR at Western States Chiropractic College and then ran my own practice for 8 years before taking a few years off to stay home with my kids. I am so excited to join the team at Pure Life Chiropractic and to share the gift that I experienced as a child growing up under care. I have extensive training in pediatric chiropractic and look forward to seeing all the moms, dads, and little ones (especially the babies!) in the office. Give our Eugene chiropractic office a call to schedule an appointment today!

Mitchell Penninger
Dr. Mitchell Penninger, Chiropractor
I was born and raised 45 minutes West of Chicago until I moved to Waukesha, WI to major in Biology at Carroll University. I then went on to study Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN until I graduated in 2017. I then moved home for a few months before I packed up and moved across the country to start working In Eugene, OR as a full fledged Doctor of Chiropractic with a certification in Chiropractic Biophysics.

Personally, I am a very energetic and fun loving guy that is passionate about helping others and bringing joy to those around me. I like to think that I am athletic and enjoy playing most sports and have been actively running since 4th grade. I ran competitively in Cross-Country and Track all 4 years of High School and Undergraduate School. I am currently playing Wallyball, exploring the beauty of the West coast, and pursuing my quest to see every superhero movie before the spoilers make it to this office.

My goal here is not only to get you out of pain, but to help you continue doing the things that make you happy and for you to become the best version of yourself. All while putting a smile on your face and a warmth in your heart.

Dr. Alexa Elniski

When I was 10 years old my mom got into a car accident, and I watched her struggle with pain every day for a year trying to take care of herself and my family.  Finally, she was referred to a chiropractor and six short visits later I had my energetic, pain-free mom back!  I have been very involved in dance my whole life, and I started going to the chiropractor when I was 12 years old to support my body alignment and spinal health.  After seeing the miraculous recovery my mom had and the extra energy and flexibility I had at dance practices, I knew that chiropractic was worth pursuing.

I graduated from the University of Lethbridge in Canada with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in 2016, then I moved to Portland where I graduated from University of Western States in 2019 with my Doctorate of Chiropractic and another Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology. After school, I moved to Eugene and started working at Pure Life in November of 2019.  I am incredibly excited to be working in the field that inspired me and changed my life as a child.  It’s my goal to inspire my patients to make positive changes for their health and to focus their energy on healing and improving every day.  The time to take action and change is right now, and at Pure Life Chiropractic we will help you get yourself on track as soon as you ask for help!
