Dr. Jenn Nyberg, Chiropractor
My first visit to the chiropractor I was 6 years old and had no symptoms. My father was getting adjusted for his back pain and he brought my sister and I with him one Saturday. The chiropractor noticed that I had a slight limp while wandering around the office and recommended x-rays. The results showed mild scoliosis in my lower back. My chiropractor discussed how this could affect my performance in sports and my posture.
Throughout my childhood and adolescence I was adjusted regularly. It kept me strong for dance, gymnastics and eventually helped when I started playing full contact ice hockey. I was taught from a young age that even though there may not be pain present, subluxations may be interfering with the function of the nervous system.
I followed the footsteps of the doctor who made such a difference in my life and attended chiropractic college in Portland, OR at Western States Chiropractic College and then ran my own practice for 8 years before taking a few years off to stay home with my kids. I am so excited to join the team at Pure Life Chiropractic and to share the gift that I experienced as a child growing up under care. I have extensive training in pediatric chiropractic and look forward to seeing all the moms, dads, and little ones (especially the babies!) in the office. These techniques assist me to assess my client’s soft tissue conditions, muscle strength, range of motion, joint quality and function. These assessments help me to provide the proper treatment needed for each client’s unique condition, injury, and all around wellness and maintenance.
In my spare time I enjoy spending it babysitting my granddaughter, helping with home improvements, gardening and canning. My all time favorite is getting out of town for the weekend at the coast with my family and friends when ever possible!
